What I Learned From a Woman's Magazine By David Leonhardt
It's amazing what you can learn about marketing if you can just
find the time to spend in a dentist's waiting room. I was
reading a certain woman's magazine, which will remain nameless
because of my allergy to lawsuits. The magazine obviously has
figured out what sells well, given that it operates on a

It was the homework that did it. Each night became a challenge
in how I was going to get my son, a non-academic, to do his
homework. I tried patience, encouragement, and teaching, all to
no avail. I moved on to bribery, threats and punishment, still
no success. Finally I tried anger, frustration and tears, but

Take your time getting to know someone before you have your
first meeting.
Taking time getting to know someone, first through emails then
on the phone, can give you a true feel for how they really are.
It also gives you a chance to listen for the signs that this

We recently discovered a great book called "Double Your Dating"
by David DeAngelo. In our opinion, it's the best place for a guy

A while back I was working on a web design project, and got
stumped as to why I was having an alignment issue. I looked at
the html code over and over, and was just not seeing the
problem. My 13 year old daughter, who had been on another
computer, comes into the office and says she has found my
problem. She says "Dad, you forgot to close a tag on line 138."
I looked again, and sure enough, there it was staring me in the
